Meet Rev. Mtipe Koggani
The Rev. Mtipe Dickson Koggani is an Ordained priest in the Episcopal Church, serving in the Diocese of Missouri where he has held several leadership roles within the Diocese including Deaconess Anne House Advisory Board, Grace Hill Task Force, Camp Phoenix (Now Camp Firebird) Leadership Team, Requem/ Reinesance Team, Alternate Delegate of the Diocese of Missouri to the Province V, Diocesan Revival Leadership Team and Emery Washington Convocation Leadership Team.
The Mtipe's work was recognized with the 2024 African Diaspora Impact Award, honoring his powerful commitment to faith-rooted community transformation.
Born and raised in the coastal city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, his journey has been one shaped by faith, justice, and deep compassion. He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Grace African Christian Connections - a vibrant African Church which has supported hundreds of Africans in the St. Louis area and offers a wide range of services beyond traditional church roles.
In addition to his pastoral work, he is a practising attorney, a member of the Tanganyika Law Society and the East Africa Law Society. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Eden Theological Seminary, with a focus on urban chaplaincy.

Rev. Mtipe is a Public speaker and author with a passion for helping God's people unlock their full potential and achieve personal and spiritual growth. With a unique blend of professional expertise and life experiences, Rev. Mtipe is dedicated to guiding others on their journey towards self-discovery and empowerment.
He is the author of the book "Tambua Kipaji Chako kikuinue" (Discover your innate ability), a book that has changed the lives of many.
The Rev. Mtipe believes in respecting the dignity of all humankind and that, regardless of our faith traditions, we were all born with special innate abilities from God. We all need to discover these abilities and utilize our full potential.
Rev. Mtipe is married to Beverly Divya Koggani, and together they are blessed with a daughter, Genevieve Karishma - the heart of their home and the joy of their lives.
