Accents of Belonging is a storytelling and evangelism platform that centers African and African diaspora voices. Born from cross-cultural ministry and shaped by lived experience, the forum creates space for stories of faith, identity, migration, and belonging to be shared with honesty and dignity.

Founded by a Tanzanian-born Episcopal priest serving in the Diocese of Missouri, the podcast and website seek to lift African voices through conversation, reflection, and shared spiritual wisdom. Rooted in the rich traditions of African Christianity, storytelling, music, community, and embodied faith, Accents of Belonging invites the wider Community to encounter the gospel through lived experience rather than abstraction.

Through podcast episodes, written reflections, music, sermons, digital resources, and community engagement, this platform amplifies underrepresented voices and helps listeners discover how God’s love is lived across cultures and contexts. By listening to one another’s stories, we expand our understanding of the body of Christ as a truly global body where every voice has a place and every story can sound like home.
